About this Event
Dundee Volunteer and Voluntary Action, Scottish Recovery Consortium and STAR Recovery are coming together to hold a conversation café gathering people's thoughts on the idea of Dundee becoming Scotland's first Inclusive Recovery City. Inclusive Recovery Cities are already in place across the UK, and they are designed to build communities where recovery from addiction is not only possible but proudly celebrated as a source of individual strength and collective resilience. Inclusive Recovery Cities shift recovery from something hidden and stigmatised to something visible, valued, and shared - bringing together services, communities and people with lived experience to embed recovery across every layer of city life. This is a chance to take part in conversations, hear from our speakers and find out: what a recovery city is, what this would mean for Dundee, and how you can get involved and shape the future of recovery in your city.
