A great family day out doesn’t have to be challenging, expensive or complicated. Imran Khan Cancer Appeal walks are tailored for families and give you the perfect opportunity to share some quality time together, discover incredible places and meet new people.
About the Walk
This is roughly a 7-mile route, which will follow a regular pace along the River Thames, as we tick off all the great landmarks of London. We will be meeting at 9.30 am at the Victoria Embankment Gardens, and the walk will commence at 10 am. Hitting all the tourist hot-spots, we’ll get to see the London Eye, Big Ben, the Tate Modern, London Bridge, Tower Bridge, Shakespeare’s Globe and get a glimpse of St. Pauls.

Fundraising
How much do I need to raise: There is a small £50 minimum fundraising target as this is a family walk. The cost of signing up for London Bridge Family Walk is £15.00. This will cover event management expenses such as the fees of trek guides, T-shirt and light refreshments for the trek, and first aid. The amount that you raise will go directly to IKCA which will help provide cancer treatment for cancer patients at the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital (SKMCH) in Lahore and Peshawar.
Once you’ve got one, all you’ll need to do is forward your JustGiving page link to friends and contacts, and they can donate online, directly to IKCA. You can also share updates and pictures on JustGiving so everyone who sponsors you can keep track of your progress.
