Ever wanted to write a hit song on the fly? Join The Improv Place at the Seattle Center Armory for a special edition of our free improv jam where we bridge the gap between spontaneous creativity and cutting-edge technology.
In this session, we’re diving into Words 2 Song. We’ll play with rhythm, rhyme, and storytelling to create lyrics in the moment, then use AI to transform those words into fully realized tracks. Whether you're a bathroom singer, a poetic soul, or someone who just likes pushing buttons, this is for you.
What to Expect
Come ready to play, create, and collaborate. We’ll guide the group through exercises designed to get the creative juices flowing; no "musical talent" required!
- Spontaneous Lyricism: We'll explore collaborative poetry, rhythmic wordplay, and storytelling.
- AI Integration: Watch (and hear) as we take our improvised lines and use AI to generate instant melodies and arrangements.
- Zero Pressure: The focus is on "Yes, and," building a shared reality, and having a blast. There’s no pressure to be "funny" or a professional vocalist.
- Community Vibes: A welcoming, supportive, and non-competitive space to meet fellow creators and tech-curious improvisers.
