About this Event
Join us for fun hands-on artisan craft workshops, including weaving, stone rubbing and more, as well as an exciting treasure hunt to find the pavilion’s secret medieval stones.
Drop in before or after one of our family tours (11.30am–12.30pm / 2-3pm) to leave no stone unturned!
Through artisan crafts, we’ll re-live the story of the City, how it was made, and together how it continues to be remade.
This event is part of the 'If Stone Could Speak' cultural programme delivered by Cheapside Business Alliance and the City of London Corporation, and produced by URBAN LEARNERS. The programme celebrates the installation of the 'From the Thames to Eternity', a City of London project providing new accessible granite seating outside St Paul's Cathedral. It explores the cultural and historical value of stone, while encouraging discussion about reuse, longevity, and heritage, and the role natural stone can play in creating a more sustainable built environment.
