Mark Lockheart – Sax, Huw Warren – Piano, Yuri Goloubev – Double Bass, Andrew Bain – DrumsA new project from award winning Welsh pianist/composer Warren showcasing his bold and original compositions from the last 25 years, as well as brand new music written for this all-star ensemble.
Rekindling his long-term relationship with Mark Lockheart (Perfect Houseplants, Barrel Organ, New Day and many other projects) the band also features the virtuoso bass playing of Yuri Goloubev and the high energy drumming of Andrew Bain. Cowbois and Shepherds represented the UK at the Qatari European Jazz Festival in 2024,and also toured Italy in 2025. This only their second performance in the UK.
