About this Event
After October 7th , 2023, Europe and the United States have seen large numbers of young people, mostly hailing for the left or far left, mobilizing in support of Palestine. In her latest book The New Antisemites , investigative reporter Nora Bussigny provides a vivid account of the currents that animate these activists and the organizations that stand behind them.
Undercover, she attended countless demonstrations, visited many universities in France, Belgium and the US, talked to administrators and students, participated in pro-Palestine training sessions. Her book reveals the powerful intersectional relationship forged over decades between the radical left and the pro-Palestinian movement, the profound impact of that relationship on schools and campuses, and the inner workings of the groups and organizations that shepherd the activity of Pro-Palestinian supporters. She also chronicles the rise of the anti-Zionist and anti-Jew sentiment that has accompanied the success of the movement.
The author, investigative journalist Nora Bussigny, will be in conversation with Julie Girard, doctor in philosophy, author and political essayist.
