About this Event

A Pop Culture Conversation About Superpowers and Science

Join a physics professor for Superheroes and the Physics of the Impossible, a thought-provoking discussion that uses the world of comic books and superhero movies to explore real-world physics. From Spider-Man’s web-swinging to Iron Man’s flight, we’ll look at what these feats reveal about forces, motion, energy, and the limits of what’s physically possible.

This isn’t a physics class. It’s a lively, interactive conversation designed to spark curiosity - and it’s best enjoyed with a drink in hand. You don’t need to be a scientist (or a superhero lover) to join. Curiosity encouraged.

Come explore big questions, share perspectives, and meet fellow curious adults through your After5 Society.
