Human Rights in the US: How to incorporate international human rights.

Join us in person to discuss how international human rights can be incorporated into U.S. advocacy. The speakers will discuss current human rights work in the United States and how advocates are engaging in international advocacy at the United Nations. The speakers will share tools to incorporate international human rights law into U.S. domestic work and ways to continue engaging in human rights advocacy.

Sarah Dávila, Professor and Director of the International Human Rights Clinic at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law

Jamil Dakwar, Director of the Human Rights Program at the ACLU

Lauren Bartlett, Professor and Director of the Human Rights at Home Litigation Clinic at St. Louis University.

Lunch will be served.
