Howard Gladstone & the Band return to the Tranzac Club for the March edition of their ongoing Sunday afternoon residency, a series running since 2018 that has become a welcoming space for thoughtful songwriting, strong musicianship, and close listening.
Gladstone is joined by his core band — Tony Quarrington (guitar), Laura Fernandez (piano & vocals), Bob Cohen (bass), and Ambrose Pottie (drums) — musicians whose depth and sensitivity bring these songs to life month after month. Hear songs from Howard's deep repertoire plus NEW songs from his upcoming new release.
March’s special guest is Jay Linden, a distinctive Canadian songwriter and performer known for his literate lyrics, dry wit, and sharply observed stories. His songs often balance humour and poignancy, drawing on everyday experience with intelligence and a quietly subversive edge. A longtime presence in the city’s folk and roots community, Linden brings a unique voice that is both engaging and unpredictable.
