We play, we discover, and we explore together.
Hi, my name is Izabela Radcliffe, founder and performer of Lutrek (www.lutrek.co.uk). I am passionate about bringing charm and joy to people. Through clowning, performance, and living statues, I have been spreading happiness for over 20 years.
I am trained in theatre and have learned from inspiring teachers such as John Wright, Philippe Gaulier, Holly Stoppit, and actors from Pina Bausch’s Dance Theatre. These influences shaped my understanding of how to spark the audience and build a truthful, playful relationship with them.
Character work and relationship with a costume is the foundation of my practice. I work with body awareness, character work, and group awareness as essential tools that make performance joyful and magical.
Through my work with Lutrek, where I hire and collaborate with a large number of performers each year, I began to notice a recurring need for character-based support — a way to lighten the work and empower many talented artists. This is what inspired me to create this workshop.
In this workshop, we will practice and deepen our awareness, connection, and the inner beauty we can share with others.
