How to Get Started in Engineering Leadership as a Female Engineer

Join us for the very first Rise event — a new quarterly speaker series by Project ada. Project Ada is the internal initiative for female empowerment at Enpal. Our mission is to unlock the full potential of Enpal by creating a workplace where women can thrive & succeed. We are a community of women, and allies, united in the pursuit of this shared goal. Together we are stronger!

Our opening theme, “How to Get Started in Engineering Leadership as a Female Engineer,” brings together inspiring women leaders who have forged their paths from engineering roles into management and executive positions.

Expect an open and honest conversation with female CTOs, VPs of Engineering, Engineering Managers, and Staff Engineers, sharing real-world experiences — the challenges, pivotal moments, and lessons that helped them grow into impactful leaders.

We especially welcome women in engineering who are aspiring or early-stage leaders. Allies, mentors, and managers of all genders who want to learn and contribute to a more inclusive engineering culture are also encouraged to join.

Whether you’re:

• A Software Engineer ready to grow into Team Lead or Staff Engineer,
• An Engineering Manager aiming to lead multiple teams or scale your impact, or
• An experienced leader looking to take on board-level responsibility in engineering,
• A male engineering leader who wants to better understand how to encourage and foster female talent, and gain deeper insight into the challenges they face.
