About this Event

How Not To Be A Music Producer is a new book by Morgan Howell (also known as music producer Soulpersona).

A darkly comic and honest look at building a life in music, the book explores the near misses, bad decisions, small wins, and the persistence it takes to keep going when things don’t quite work out as planned.

The launch is presented in collaboration with the team behind Rock ’n’ Roll Book Club and Soul Picnic, who have previously hosted events around artists/authors such as Arthur Baker, Greg Wilson and Tim Lawrence & Marshall Jefferson.

Taking place at BBE Store, London, the evening will centre around a live Q&A interview with the author, delving deeper into the stories, experiences, and realities behind the book.

There will also be selected readings, along with a limited run of paperback copies available on the night, with a signing afterwards.

The event will be followed by an event afterparty, with Soulpersona playing a selection of favourite records.
