About this Event
JOIN US FOR FIRST SATURDAYS- A very special event celebrating the power of community, arts, and connection.
For Saturday, April 5th, we will transform our gallery into a unique open mic venue where we will ask all participants the same question: How Has Art Changed Your Life? We welcome all creative interpretations, whether it's a direct answer to the question or a song, poem , or visual art piece that changed your life in some way. Open mic signups are first come, first serve! Sign up at the door when you arrive to participate, or relax and enjoy the show.
This is a part of our new First Saturdays on Pine St. series, with the goal to bring consistent acessible spaces with a focus on arts and culture to the community and hilight the small businesses that make Philadelphia such a special city to live in. the first Saturday of each month, we will turn our new flagship gallery space in the heart of Washington Square West into a pop-up style art showcase featuring visual arts by local People's Gallery Project artists and special live performances by local musicians, poets, and creatives of all kinds. Imagine a Saturday evening at your favorite cafe, surrounded by art, creativity and good energy.
This is a safe and supportive environment to enjoy yourself, connect with local artists and entrepreneurs, support local artists, have fun, and just be.
