Performed by multidisciplinary artist Sandra Abode with vocalisations by Cleopatra Thompson, ‘Home Body’ is a somatic movement piece, exploring sound, the intentional absence of it, and the tensions that take place within the body. Presented are ruminations on sensuality, daily rituals and how the human form can evolve into a site of home, displacement, and generational trauma.*

Following this, Cleopatra Thompson will present a transportive performance, ushering us into a sphere of soulful, jazz-laced sounds.

To close the evening, Stephseek — founder of R E L E A S S S — will deliver a deeply immersive set. Expect ambient soundscapes designed to leave you feeling sonically nourished, R E L E A S S S provides an environment for people to realign, recharge and relax, right in the bustling city.

ABOUT ARTWORKS EAST:
