About this Event
The High Speed Rail Group’s Annual Conference will focus on the transformation of Euston into a modern high-speed rail hub and the regeneration opportunity it presents. Join industry leaders to explore how HS2, the wider rail network and the supply chain can help unlock long-term economic growth.
The conference will focus on the opportunity to transform Euston station into a modern, integrated transport hub - and the wider regeneration potential this creates for the surrounding area. Discussions will examine the importance of completing the connection between HS2 and London Euston, and its integration with the wider rail network, which will unlock the full economic, connectivity and place-making benefits of the project.
Through keynote speeches, panel discussions and networking opportunities, the conference will explore the vital role of the rail supply chain and wider industry in delivering an affordable and deliverable vision for Euston, while catalysing regeneration across the wider Euston campus and supporting the UK Government’s mission to drive economic growth.
The programme will also look more broadly at how high-speed rail infrastructure can be effectively integrated with the existing network, including the future Birmingham – Crewe link, and how the skills, innovation and specialist capabilities developed through HS2, from tunnelling and civil engineering to rail systems and rolling stock, can be sustained and applied across the UK’s future rail programmes.
