“This is not a side project. It’s a new touring and recording band," declares Aaron Stainthorpe, the long standing frontman with doom metal maestros My Dying Bride, and follows "with our debut studio album, we’re showing our love for all things gothic and grand, along with a collective belief that dark music doesn’t have to be confined to the shadows."
High Parasite, driven by Aaron and bassist/vocalist/songwriter Tombs, announces the birth of 'Death Pop' with their debut album 'Forever We Burn', via Candlelight/Spinefarm. Produced by Gregor Mackintosh of Paradise Lost, who also contributes signature guitar lines, the album explores the darker recesses of the human condition and showcases the talents of the band's members, Sam Hill (rhythm guitar), Johnny Hunter (lead guitar), and Dan Brown (drums).
Featuring the singles 'Wasn't Human', 'Grave Intentions', and 'Let It Fail', 'Forever We Burn' is out now!
