About this Event

Join us for a relaxed, hands-on workshop in the beautiful Finchley Memorial Hospital community garden. As part of , this session invites you to plant your own herbs to take home while discovering their uses for both people and pollinating insects when in bloom.

You’ll learn simple planting techniques, explore the benefits of common herbs, and enjoy time in a peaceful green space that supports wellbeing for patients, staff, and visitors alike. Volunteers will also share the story of the garden—how it was created, how it’s cared for, and its role in reconnecting nature within the local area.

Whether you’re new to gardening or just curious, this is a welcoming opportunity to get your hands in the soil, learn something new, and connect with Finchley’s living heritage.
