Learn about Intuitive Herbalism with a guided journey featuring meditation, tea tasting and embodied exercises
About this Event

This is an evening to explore your intuition, meet the wisdom of the plants and learn practices that open your perception of the plant world.  Are you curious about experiencing herbs beyond their physical properties? Bring your curiosity and playful selves to this mystery plant journey.

Intuitive Herbalism is an embodied practice where we learn to listen and attune to the subtle level of the plant realm. The plants can act as a mirror, showing us the parts of ourselves that need our attention. This is a practice that honours the spirit of the plants and invites us to come into our true nature beyond our social conditioning.

We’ll begin the evening with a group meditation and breathing exercises to welcome us into the space before introducing our mystery herb. This will be an everyday herb that grows commonly in the garden. We’ll meet this plant through a guided journey and embodied exercises working with both the physical plant and a hot water infusion to collectively paint a picture of who this plant is and what they are offering us.

What to expect:

  • Learn how to meet the wisdom of the plants beyond their physical healing abilities
  • Learn how your intuition speaks to you
  • Embodied exercises which bring creativity and insight
  • To be invited into a playful childlike state to experience plants in a new way

About the Space:

The Roundhouse is a wooden circular structure with a woodburning fire. There are two ramps for access and it is located within a community garden space. While we maintain the paths, there are uneven and slippery surfaces throughout, so please take care on arrival and exiting. Please speak to the team if you have specific accessibility needs.

Biography:
Charlotte is an Intuitive Herbalist, forager, food grower, community gardener and teacher. She trained with The School of Intuitive Herbalism from 2015 and has been walking the plant path for the last 11 years. Charlotte shares the magic of the plant world alongside practical skills to introduce wild food and wild medicine into our everyday experience - teaching ‘medicine’ beyond the physical properties of the plants. Charlotte teaches foraging, practical medicine making sessions, and offers deep soul sessions in Intuitive Herbalism. She mentors as part of the school's online introduction course.
