A talk by Dr Rachel Walker & Caroline Hird on encouraging more biodiversity and help wildlife thrive in your allotment plot.
About this Event

Allotments provide valuable and diverse habitats for wildlife in urban areas. There are a number of ways plotholders can encourage more biodiversity on allotments, from creating a pond or a compost heap to planting a more diverse selection of crops and flowers.

The Barn Elms Allotment Society is hosting a free talk on 18 March at Trinity Church Hall by Dr Rachel Walker, Borough of Richmond Allotment Group chair and Barnes Common volunteer, and Caroline Hird, Barnes Hedgehog Champion. Find out how you can encourage more biodiversity and help wildlife thrive in your allotment plot. Book your free place here.

Doors open at 7pm.
