How Will Your Donations Be Utilized?

The sponsorship funding of $250,000 will be dedicated to creating scholarship opportunities for individuals in need of assistance upon their release from incarceration. Our overarching goal is to provide comprehensive support to these individuals, ensuring they have the necessary resources and training to successfully reintegrate into society. Following are just a few examples of how your generous donation can be utilized to change lives:

1. Scholarship Opportunities

A portion of the funding will be allocated towards creating scholarships for individuals who require financial assistance to access our services. These scholarships will cover the costs associated with the program, including housing, toiletries, transportation, clothes, groceries, and training.

2. Wrap-around Services

The majority of the funds will be utilized to provide full wrap-around services for each participant over a maximum period of 70 days. These services are essential for addressing the various needs of individuals transitioning from incarceration to society. The approximate cost per participant is $11,000, which includes:

• Housing - Providing safe and stable housing arrangements for participants during their transition period.

• Toiletries - Supplying essential personal hygiene products to ensure participants' basic needs are met.

• Transportation - Assisting participants with transportation needs, including travel to job interviews, training sessions, and other essential appointments.

• Clothing - Providing appropriate clothing for various occasions, including professional attire for job interviews and work-related clothing for training programs.

• Groceries - Ensuring participants have access to nutritious food during their transition period.

• Training - Offering training programs in various trades, including welding, forklift operation, auto glass installation, freight dispatching, and OSHA 10 certifications. These programs aim to equip participants with valuable skills that enhance their employability and long-term success.

3. Flexibility in Funding Allocation

We recognize that not all participants may be eligible for grant funding or fall under specific grant criteria. Therefore, the sponsorship funding will provide flexibility to accommodate individuals who may not meet grant requirements but still require our services. This ensures that we can serve as many individuals in need as possible, without turning anyone away due to funding constraints.

Your generosity will play a crucial role in supporting individuals in their journey towards successful reintegration into society by providing essential resources, training, and support services.
Thank you for considering Rehabilitation of the Heart.
