THIS EVENT IS FREE BUT REQUIRES REGISTRARTION
The Danish healthcare system is tax-funded, which means that all residents with a CPR number have access to public healthcare – and most services are free of charge.
At this event, Kristian Kjær a medical doctor from the Capital Region of Denmark will give you a clear and hands-on introduction on how the system works. You’ll learn about your local doctor’s role (GP), how to access hospitals, specialists, and dentists.
Kristian Kjær will also explain how to use your yellow health insurance card, how to register with a doctor, and when to contact the different medical services – including your GP, emergency care, a specialist, the medical helpline and more.
This event aims to provide practical knowledge that helps you feel more confident navigating healthcare in Denmark.
These events take place hybrid with 2 registration options, either for the online or the on-site event at International House Copenhagen.
