Join us for the next Institute for Excellence in Health Equity (IEHE) quarterly Health Equity Speaker Series. With this series, we aim to provide a forum for faculty, students, and staff to engage in meaningful conversations and become informed about recent trends and insights in the field of health equity. Participants of this series will gain more knowledge on health disparities and become empowered to engage in actions that contribute to health equity in research, medical education, and for our communities at large.

Host: Brita Roy, M.D., M.P.H., M.S
Info: Brita Roy, MD, MPH, MHS is Associate Professor of Population Health and Medicine, Community-Clinic Linkage Research Pillar Lead for the Institute for Excellence in Health Equity, and the Director of Community Health & Clinical Outcomes for NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn. Dr. Roy is a general internist with an engineering background whose research uniquely employs systems science to optimize health outcomes for all. She applies a preventive, community-based approach, implementing interventions that aim to create conditions that foster health and well-being for all.
