About this Event
Heal to Rebuild – Yoga, Gong bath & Palestinian Vegan Dishes Fundraiser for the Hanoon Foundation: In Support of Medical Training in Palestine
When: Sun 23 Nov, 14:30-17:30/6
Where: Palm 2, Lower Clapton, E5
Join us for a restorative and meaningful evening to raise funds for the urgent work of the Hanoun Foundation, a British-registered charity dedicated to training medical doctors and surgeons to provide critical healthcare in Palestine.
The evening features an hour of relaxing yoga with instructor Claire Quinn, followed by a long, restorative sound bath. We then come together to share a delightful selection of Palestinian vegan food (Manal Massalha) and tea. This is a unique opportunity to enjoy wellness and community while directly supporting a vital cause.
During the two years of war in Palestine, over 1,700 health workers have been killed, over 200 of whom are doctors & specialist doctors with over 15 years of training. All gone.
Building communities is our response to racism & dehumanisation.
All proceeds & every penny raised will go to the Hanoon Foundation (previously known as FQMS), which for nearly 30 years has been working tirelessly to build an independent healthcare system in Palestine, including training the much-needed medical doctors.
Thank you for helping rebuild those capacities.
