To mark the 40th anniversary of the Harry Waugh Dessert Room, Bern’s Steak House will celebrate the nostalgia of years past with a special seven-course pairing dinner prepared by Executive Chef Chad Johnson and Pastry Chef Hannah Thomas. Guests will enjoy three savory courses and four dessert courses, each expertly paired with a wine, icewine, port, specialty beer, or cocktail from our proprietary collection.

We look forward to honoring our founders Bern and Gert Laxer, who after visiting their dear friend Harry Waugh's drawing room in London, returned to Tampa inspired to build their very own dessert room. For forty years, the Harry Waugh Dessert Room in Tampa has been where guests celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, engagements, and more.

The evening will begin with a reception at 6 pm in the Harry Waugh Dessert Champagne Room, followed by a seated dinner. This unforgettable wine dinner experience at Tampa’s iconic steak house is a celebration decades in the making.
