Fleetwood's own folk punk fast riser Harrison Rimmer returns with the release of single 'Better In Fiction' and a UK tour celebrating its release on the 28th of May! To celebrate its release, Harrison heads out on a UK tour in July, touching down in Edinburgh with support from Ezra Briggs and Folke on the 6th of July! The latest single by singer songwriter Harrison Rimmer, 'Better In Fiction' sees a slight departure from his usual blend of high energy rock & leaning more into his singer songwriter sound. Produced by Alexander Hulme, 'Better In Fiction' has encouraged Harrison to experiment with different soundscapes & being more vulnerable lyrically. Having sworn he was done writing love songs, this song was written about a time in his life prior to the release of his 2nd album "Cheaper Than Therapy" where Harrison was newly single & incredibly cynical to the notion of love or meeting someone & then one day one of his friends said “hey I know this girl you 2 should meet”, harrison being harrison said “sure why not. Sadly for him nothing came of that infatuation but you do get this song.This song is about that moment when you meet someone for the first time & it's that electric feeling triggering a split second fork in the road we all face when met with someone we find attractive, where you either you bite the bullet approach the person say "Hi" & ask them out OR do you just suck it up nod your head & walk out the door & have the fantasy undisturbed.Harrison Rimmer is a singer songwriter hailing from Fleetwood & grown in York, bringing heartfelt rock with country grit & a punk bite. He has supported Frank Turner, Massive Wagons, Mark Chadwick (The Levellers), John Power (Cast/The LA's), Seth Lakeman, The blockheads, as well opening for Big Country, Rick Witter (Shed Seven), Tom Hingley (Inspiral Carpets), John Otway, Ryan McCombs (Drowning Pool/SOiL), Tony Wright (TerrorVision), Pet Needs, and many more. Alongside this he has also been playing shows across the UK, Australia, Germany, The Netherlands, France, Ireland, & parts of Asia & America stunning audiences with his high energy rock and roll with the mantra “I’ll play to anyone, anywhere, anytime.”
