***Space is limited to 20 students, and will sell out, so register early!The handpan is an intuitive instrument that was shaped into reality in the year 2000. While it is a new instrument to the world, its lineage and inspiration has global reach that dates back hundreds of years.
Sarah Paz Hyde and Sean Youngman welcome absolute beginners and all to learn a brief history and try your hand playing about 20 different styles of this mystical instrument they will be bringing to share!
With hands-on group play, you are invited to try something new as we connect to the spirit of play through the vibrations of sound. Together, we’ll discover our unique touch in this beginner-friendly space! We will close our time together with a mini house concert by Sean and Sarah.
Lots of handpans will be available try! Bring yours too if you have one!

Parking in the lot and garage is free and plentiful. Register in advance to receive the directions.
When you pull into the Falls Center complex, you will see a large parking lot and garage to your right. (With Founded and The Preston on your left.)
Mishana studio is inside The Preston. Make sure you are registering with a current email address to receive the arrival instructions, which will be sent by email before class. (Search your email or check your spam folder if you don't see it.)
