We present you the Bookstore Sessions, where performances take place at the bookstore Le Flaneur in an intimate setting surrounded by thousands of books.
Bookstore Sessions aim to provide a platform for both established and emerging talents across various performing arts, all within an intimate environment where the audience is seamlessly connected to the performer.
Halil Caliskan is a Turkish comedian who lives in the Netherlands and tells jokes about his existential crises, being misunderstood in certain situations, types of bikers in the city, his personal journey from substance abuse to sobriety, and from depression to comedy, while still being funny and delivering the jokes in his unique dark, deadpan style.
Le Flaneur is a multilingual bookstore offering books (and curios) in English, Dutch, Turkish, French, German, Spanish, and more, located at Prinsengracht 260.
Doors open at 19:30 and show starts at 20:00.
