Boys & Girls Club of Greater Westfield Half Marathon/5K/10K/Kids Fun Run will start at 11:00 a.m. on April 11.All participants receive a custom medal, shirt, and Finish Line Meal.
The Westfield Half started in 1994 when a group of runners from the Empire One Running Club approached the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Westfield with the idea of a half-marathon fundraiser. Since then, we have seen the Westfield Half grow from 142 runners to well over 600. In 2011, there were nearly 1,000 participants! We have also added a 10K run/walk race, a 5K run/walk race, and a children’s race. Since that first race 30 years ago, this event has raised ~$300,000 for the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Westfield.
