Freedom from Fear and Anxiety
with Kadam John McBretney
Anxiety can colour our whole experience—tightening the mind, draining our energy, and making even simple tasks feel overwhelming. Buddha’s teachings offer profound and practical methods to understand where fear really comes from and how we can gradually let it go.
In this half-day course, Kadam John will explain how anxiety arises from mistaken ways of thinking and how meditation helps us step back, calm the mind, and develop a more realistic, peaceful perspective. By learning to work skilfully with our thoughts, we can reduce worry, transform fearful habits, and cultivate a stable inner confidence.
Through teachings and guided meditations, you will discover how to:
- Recognise the inner causes of fear and anxiety
- Use meditation to create space, clarity, and calm
- Develop confidence and courage through realistic wisdom
Everyone is welcome—perfect for beginners and everyone seeking more ease, strength, and peace in daily life.
