Zapraszamy na wyjątkowy warsztat HAKA z Hiną i Maną
Tym razem nasze warsztaty przeniosą nas do plemienia z północy Nowej Zelandii – plemienia Ngāpuhi.
Poznając ich Haka, poznamy również ich historię, oraz jak stali się jednym z najbardziej znaczących plemion podczas wojny z Brytyjczykami.
Wykonując Haka:
- Dowiemy się, czym jest Haka, co reprezentuje, co przynosi i jak działa na nasz umysł i ciało.
- Porozmawiamy o kluczowych słowach w kulturze polinezyjskiej, które kierują codziennym życiem tysięcy rdzennych mieszkańców, poznając polinezyjski sposób życia.
- Uosobimy dzikiego ducha Maorysów, aby obudzić go w sobie.
- Zapoznamy się z duchowością Maorysów, poczujemy moc każdego ruchu i dowiemy się, jak konkretny ruch przywołuje bóstwo natury.
- Nasze głosy wyniosą słowa prosto do przodków, dając nam siłę pięciu ludzi.
- Odkryjemy znaczenie „intensywnego wyrazu twarzy”, zwanego Pūkana.
- Poznamy maoryskie poczucie jedności, w którym kobiety i mężczyźni wykonują Haka razem, tworząc czystą formę mocy.
- Będziemy chcieli uwolnić emocje, aby obudzić naszą wewnętrzną siłę, w miejscu, gdzie nikt nie będzie nas oceniał.
- Rozpalimy nasz wewnętrzny ogień, tak jak Tanerore (patrz historia haka poniżej) robi to dla swojej matki.
Historia pochodzenia Haka różni się w zależności od plemienia. Oto jedna z nich:
Podczas gdy niektórzy twierdzą, że Haka została stworzona przez boginię podczas walki starożytnych bogów, istnieje inna opowieść, w której syn wykonuje Haka, aby uczcić swoją matkę.
Tanerore, bóg migoczącego ciepła, jest synem Tamanuitery, Słońca, i Hineraumati, Pani lata. Kiedy Słońce wznosi się wysoko latem, a ciepło migocze, Tanerore tańczy Haka dla swojej matki. Ciepło reprezentuje niepowstrzymaną moc Haka, a migotanie – ruchy taneczne.
🌕 Hina:
Hinatea urodziła się we Francji, a ze strony ojca pochodzi z Tahiti. Jej imię jest kojarzone ze starożytną polinezyjską boginią księżyca Hiną. Zew jej polinezyjskich korzeni był głośny i przyciągnął ją z powrotem do dziedzictwa, dlatego została nauczycielką Ori Tahiti (tradycyjnego tańca tahitańskiego). Podczas pobytu w Europie i Polinezji miała okazję zanurzyć się w kulturze Tahiti, ale także nawiązać kontakt z innymi kulturami i tańcami Pacyfiku, takimi jak hawajskie hula.
☀️ Mana:
Mana pochodzi z Polinezji, urodził się na świętej wyspie Ra’iatea, legendarnej Hava’i Nui, a jego rodzina wywodzi się od ostatniego klanu/plemienia stawiającego czoła najeźdźcom w Wyspie Podwietrznej i Aotearoa (Nowa Zelandia). Zgodnie z tradycją, dorastając wraz z dziadkami, poznawać swoich przodków, kultury i tradycje, pilnie strzegąc historii i legend Polinezji, opowiadanych przez starszych w dzieciństwie.
Warsztaty będą prowadzone w języku angielskim.

🌊 Haka with Hina and Mana
Our workshop will take us to a northern tribe, the Ngāpuhi tribe.
By knowing their Haka, we will also learn their story, how they became one of the most prominent tribes during the war against the British.
By performing Haka,
- We will learn what Haka represents, what it brings, how it works on our own mind and body. We will talk about some Polynesian key words, ruling the daily life of thousands of
natives, knowing the Polynesian way of life.
- We will embody the fierce Māori spirit to awake yours.
- We will get familiar with the Māori spirituality, feel the power of every move and know how a specific move is summoning a deity of nature.
- Our voices will elevate the words directly to ancestors, giving us the strength of five men.
- We will discover the meanings of “the intimidating face expression”, called Pūkana.
- We will learn about the Māori sense of unity, where women and men perform Haka together, giving the pure form of power.
- We will want to release emotions, to awake our inner power, in a place where no one will judge you.
- We will ignite our inner fire as Tanerore (see story of haka below) does for his mother.
The story of the origin of Haka differs from a tribe to another, let me share with you one of them:
When some share that Haka was created by a goddess during the battle of the old gods, there is another one in which a son performs Haka to honour his mother.
Tanerore, God of shimmering heat, is the son of Tamanuitera, the Sun, and Hineraumati, Lady of summer. When the Sun hits high during summer and the heat shimmers, Tanerore dances Haka for his mother. The heat representing the unstoppable power of Haka and the shimmers being the dance moves.
🌕 About Hina:
Hinatea was born in France with Tahitian origins on her father's side. Her name is associated with the ancient Polynesian Goddess of the Moon, Hina. The call of her Polynesian roots was loud and drew her back to her heritage, so she became a teacher of Ori Tahiti (Tahitian traditional dance). During her stay in Europe and Polynesia, she had the opportunity to immerse herself in Tahitian culture, but also connect with other Pacific cultures and dances, such as the Hawaiian hula.
☀️About Mana:
Mana, comes from Polynesia, born on the sacred island of Ra’iatea, the legendary Havai’i Nui, and his family traces their lineage to the last clan/tribe standing against colonizers in the Leeward islands and Aotearoa (New Zealand). As the traditions oblige, he learnt about his ancestors, cultures, and traditions growing up with his grandparents, guarding dearly the stories and legends of Polynesia, told by his elders in his childhood.
Mana’s goal is to share the authentic Polynesian cultures.
The workshops are open to everyone, regardless of gender and experience. The workshops will be held in English.
