Assemble from 09:00, get ready to ride at 13:00, departing at 13:30. There will be some socialising from 9am, but you don't need to be there until we leave at 1:15pm. Body painting will be available 10:30 – 11:30 and 12:00 – 13:00- please make a donation!
As this is a café, there are some rules. Please follow them or we lose our deposit!
Please do not consume your own food or drink on the premises. Buy it from the café so that they’ll welcome us back next year!
Please spend at least £10 on food and drink.
Nudity is only permitted in certain areas. You need to be covered when on the gallery side of the cafe (this area will have a clear partition). This includes trips to the toilet facilities
Leave no rubbish or mess behind.
There is no parking.
The ride is made possible by volunteer helpers and generous donations from our participants. No one is paid for running WNBR London, but we do have some significant expenses like radio comms hire, road closure fees, insurance, printing, marshals' ID, etc. It's got to be worth a fiver! The Hackney Wick route is around 11½ miles long (18½ Km). The group is led by ECCENTRiC!!! and will take a comfortable route to merge with the Tower Hill group enroute before becoming part of the overall peloton.
The World Naked Bike Ride is a global protest movement with rides in cities around the world, raising awareness of issues such as safety of cyclists on the road, reducing oil dependence and saving the planet. Let's make the planet great again!
WNBR’s themes are to:
- protest against the global dependency on oil
- curb car culture
- obtain real rights for cyclists
- demonstrate the vulnerability of cyclists on city streets
- celebrate body freedom
As well as promoting healthy life choices it can also be the best fun you can ever have on two wheels. The London ride has the excitement of a carnival, with big crowds to cheer it on. It is a "naked bike ride" but you can be "as bare as you dare" - body painting and fancy dress are welcome. It is fun, legal and all in a worthy cause.
There are multiple start points for this year's ride, so please choose the one you like the most. The exact routes will be decided nearer to the date.

Because there have been complaints in the past, we must remind you not to engage in sexually provocative or otherwise inappropriate behaviour that will bring the WNBR and its causes into disrepute.
