About this Event
What if calm focus and emotional balance were not abstract ideas but trainable skills?
In this talk, you will discover the powerful connection between yoga, neuroscience and mental wellbeing. Drawing on both clinical insight and embodied practice, this session explains how breath movement and mindfulness directly influence the nervous system stress response and mental health.
You will be guided through simple breathing and mindfulness exercises while learning the science behind why they work, leaving with practical tools you can use immediately to support resilience, clarity and wellbeing in everyday life.
Jasmine Snowden is a Registered Adult and Mental Health Nurse with years of experience working across mental health services. Her approach to wellbeing is compassionate, grounded and evidence-based shaped by extensive clinical practice and her work supporting and mentoring student nurses.
Jasmine will be joined by a Registered Adult and Mental Health Nurse who is a qualified Yoga Instructor, bringing together clinical expertise and yogic practice. Together, they offer a session that bridges neuroscience and lived experience, creating an accessible, informative, and embodied exploration of mental well-being.
