About this Event
This 1.5-hour training will provide knowledge and skills in best practices for working with children and families in foster care, adoption, and guardianship. This training is open to child welfare professionals working with families in foster care and adoption. This might include professionals working for the Department of Family and Protective Services, Single Source Continuum Contractors, CASA, post permanency agencies, child placing agencies and those providing mental health services. We hope to see you there! CEUs will be provided.
Objectives:
- Learn how to better prepare potential adoptive parents for the adoption journey.
- Increase understanding of the practical and social emotional aspects of adoption.
