Join us for a walk through the Park that has a split personality: half-park, half-cemetery. Explore the fabulous wetland with hidden trails through extensive revegetation, bushland and bronze animal sculptures. Then, learn about some strange SA History with famous gravesites, war memorials, and lurking between the headstones, some of the rarest bush tucker plants on the Adelaide plains. Children most welcome. Bring your dog (on a lead). Wear sturdy shoes for a walk of about 2 hours duration.This tour takes place on Clean Up Australia Day and APA is proud to be an active participant of the day.
We'll provide the gear if you're willing to participate and help us clean up Park 23 as we explore the park and West Terrace Cemetery.
