Come to this camp and create a stuffed Guardian Creature of your very own. Through the exploration of the fascinating history of mythical and storybook creatures throughout time, students will:
- Engage in a hands-on project designed to make their own Stuffed Guardian Creature. This isn't just a toy; it is a "Tactical Companion" designed to defend your team’s Citadel.
- Learn about the rich history of mythological creatures from ancient myths to modern fantasy, discovering how civilizations used "monsters" to explain the terrifying forces of nature and the physics of the unknown.
- Use fabric remnants to take a 2D drawing to a 3D stuffed creature. Students will master the transition from a flat blueprint to a three-dimensional form, learning the "Architecture of the Soft" through pattern-making and structural design.
- Learn 3D software to bridge the gap between organic and mechanical. Students will use CAD (Computer-Aided Design) to model specialized features.
- Fabricate 3D-printed parts for extra character detail. Bring your creature to life with custom-engineered components—think wings, crystalline eyes, or reinforced claws.
