Grounded in Wellness: Flow to Heal Community Yoga

Join us at Empower House on Friday, April 11th, 2025, for a community yoga experience designed to support your physical and psychological wellbeing while fostering social and spiritual connection with community. Flow to Heal is a wellness yoga program created by Frederika Easley, a dedicated yoga instructor, with a focus on the healing and empowerment of Black women. If you’ve never tried yoga, this is an opportunity to do so in a safe space.

We will start at 11 AM with a conversation with Mrs. Easley about her motivations to launch Flow to Heal, the community and health benefits of trauma-informed yoga, and ways in which Flow to Heal is culturally grounded. Then, we will practice Flow to Heal yoga for 45 minutes. Please bring your yoga mats! If you are a community member yoga mats will be available for up to 40 people. Snacks will be available.
