Join the Canadian Chamber Orchestra for GriegFest, a celebration of the music of Edvard Grieg, Norway’s most beloved composer. Presented in collaboration with OPUS Chamber Music, this special concert explores Grieg’s music in both grand orchestral and intimate chamber settings.
Experience the power and lyricism of Grieg’s music in a full chamber orchestra concert featuring the Holberg Suite, the iconic Piano Concerto in A minor with acclaimed Canadian pianist Kevin Ahfat, and a string orchestra arrangement of Grieg’s dramatic String Quartet in G minor. A short pre-concert introduction will offer insight into Grieg’s music and its deep roots in Norwegian.
Join the orchestra an hour before the show for a complimentary drink during our Happy Hour. Stick around after the show to hang out with other audience members and musicians!
