About this Event
Hosted by the Denver Deathcare Collective. Where grief is tended and death is sacred.
These monthly grief circles at Sakala Community are a compassionate space to hold your sorrow in the embrace of community.
This month, Isabel Ranney of Wild Willow Alchemy will guide our circle in a gentle space to honor and remember the beloved animal companions in our lives. Whether you are moving through the grief of pet loss or carrying anticipatory grief around a beloved pet nearing transition, you are welcome here. Together, we will gather in community to share stories, witness one another’s grief, and honor the deep love we carry for our animal companions.
What to Expect
Our time together will include:
• Grounding practices to help us arrive fully in the body and the space
• Gentle opportunities to share what is present on the heart in community
• Guided meditation and moments of quiet reflection
• A candle-lighting ritual to honor our beloved animal companions
• Compassionate witnessing, shared reflections, and community support
You are invited to participate in whatever way feels most supportive for you. Sharing is always optional.
Participants are invited to bring:
• A photo of their pet
• A collar, toy, or meaningful item
• A journal
• Anything that helps them feel connected to their beloved companion
