About this Event
Paying for senior care can feel overwhelming, but families have more options than they often realize. This class will break down the most common ways people pay for senior living and long-term care, including Medicaid, long-term care planning, home equity, insurance options, veteran benefits, private pay strategies, and local support resources.
This class is hosted by Maddie Cowger in partnership with Kim Searless of Beneficent, who will cover Medicaid and long-term care planning. Maddie will cover how home equity can be part of the plan, with an additional guest joining to speak on insurance. The class will be held at Senior Social Club on Morrison, a community-focused adult day center offering meals, transportation, activities, outings, multilingual support in four languages, and access to the types of local resources featured in the Denver Metro Senior Living Guide. Snacks and refreshments will be provided, with comfortable and accommodating seating available.
There is plenty of parking on site. Open the doors and proceed downstairs to the Senior Social Club. There is a variety of seating, and someone will greet and guide you in.
