Join us at Gregorys Coffee for a one-of-a-kind celebration of experimentation and innovation. This time, we’re putting on our “barrel goggles” and exploring how coffee transforms when aged in wine and spirit barrels.
We’ll showcase four coffees, aged in four types of barrels, and served eight different ways, so you can taste the full spectrum of flavors.
Here’s what’s in store:
- Start with a side-by-side tasting of coffee before and after barrel aging to experience the dramatic difference for yourself.
- Our Director of Coffee, Jake Leonti, will give a brief introduction to the project, explain our process, and answer your questions.
- Then, we’ll unleash our non-alcoholic barrel-aged coffee mocktail menu, featuring:
- The Not-So-Old Fashioned – whiskey barrel-aged espresso
- Ginny N Juicy – small lot Java SO aged in gin barrels
- Rwanda-Sangria – Direct Trade Rwanda SO aged in Chardonnay barrels
- Scotch and Soda – Costa Rica Tarrazu aged in Scotch barrels
Every guest will go home with a sample bag of LIVE Coffee, crafted in the spirit of experimentation and connecting with others IRL.
