About this Event
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll design and print unique fabric pieces using special disperse dyes, a heat press, and a mix of stencils, natural materials, and collage techniques with artist Becky Vincer.
During the session, you’ll:
- Experiment with textures, patterns, and layering effects.
- Print small fabric samples for projects like patchwork, sewing, or framing.
- Create a personalised pennant (fabric wall hanging) to take home.
- Learn how to use a heat press safely and adapt the technique for home use with an iron.
This workshop is perfect for beginners and offers a fun, inclusive space to explore new skills, build confidence, and create something beautiful.
This session is suitable for those aged 12-years-old and above. Under 12s are unable to take part because you will be working with a heat press. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
