Grateful Talking Dead Heads is exactly what it sounds like: a collective of musicians paying homage to two of the greatest bands of all time. Their jam-centric approach celebrates the spirit of the Dead while taking liberties on popular and deep-cut Talking Heads tunes. Under the leadership of Denver, CO based guitarist Lucas Parker and Fayetteville, AR based keyboardist Adam Becker, the band features premier players from all over the country. Every show takes the audience on a unique musical journey, fusing nostalgia with the now, and tradition with exploration.
Denver, CO based act Lucas Parker & Jessica Paige explores a musical spectrum that ranges from sensitive Americana singer/songwriter to sensational electrified jam-infused jazz/fusion. With a sound evoking flavors reminiscent of Tedeschi Trucks Band, Dave Matthews Band and Brandi Carlile, the show highlights vocalist and songwriter Jessica Paige (Voted Kansas City’s Best Vocalist 2022 by Pitch Magazine / American Idol Semifinalist) and the virtuosic guitar work and compositions of Lucas Parker, whose credentials include performing alongside Warren Haynes, Joe Bonnamassa as well as appearing on NPR Tiny Desk Concert with Tech N9ne.
