About this Event
Go looking for grasshoppers and crickets with Heart of England Forest Volunteer Manager Jonathan Saunders and Assistant Biodiversity Officer Avery Hill. Learn the difference between a grasshopper and a cricket and how to identify some of the common grassland species you may see in the area.
This survey is part of the fourth annual Heart of England Forest Bioblitz where we will be creating a snapshot of the variety of species found in a specific area of the Forest during a 24 hour period. No previous BioBlitz experience or species knowledge is required to get involved.
Registration for this event is free however we would appreciate it if you would be willing to make a donation to help us to grow the forest and work on creating and maintaining a mosaic of wildlife habitats. This wildlife surveying event is not suitable for dogs to attend.
By registering for this event you are agreeing to us contacting you by email or phone to advise you of any further event information, changes to the event or post-event feedback. The Heart of England Forest events terms can be found here and the privacy policy here.
