Grand Opening for Brown Bear Excel Early Learning Center in Mattapan Square

Hey there! Join us for the Grand Opening of the brand new Brown Bear Excel Early Learning Center right in the heart of Mattapan Square. Brown Bear Centers’ Grand Opening celebrates the official launch of our second location, a major milestone in our continued growth and service to families. This new center holds special significance because it was made possible through the City of Boston SPACE grant, which gave us the opportunity to transform a newly constructed space in the heart of Mattapan Square into a Brown Bear Center.

After more than a year and a half of construction, planning, and enrolling our preschoolers, we are excited to open our doors and formally introduce this new space to the community. The event is both a celebration and a welcome, marking the beginning of Brown Bear’s next chapter and our deeper investment in early childhood education in Boston.

This is an awesome chance to check out the space, meet the friendly team, and learn all about the exciting programs for little learners. The event will include a community open house, tours of the new center, brief remarks, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony. We are expecting local elected officials, community leaders, families, and organizational partners to be in attendance. We are also hopeful that the Mayor may join the ribbon-cutting portion of the program.
