Good Sports
Good Sports brings together artwork by 19 Access Gallery artists exploring movement, competition, teamwork, play, and personal connection through sports and athletic culture.
Featuring painting, drawing, sculpture, digital artwork, and mixed media, Good Sports highlights a wide range of artistic voices and approaches. Some artists drew from personal experiences with sports, while others approached the theme through imagination, humor, storytelling, animals, fantasy, and character-driven work.
The exhibition also features a Community Art Wall featuring Kinetics where artists explored making art through movement as part of the creative process.
Visitors will encounter energetic scenes inspired by basketball, dance, bull riding, racing, track and field, and kinetic movement, alongside abstract and unexpected interpretations of what it means to compete, move, celebrate, and belong.

Join Access Gallery and our friends at Special Olympics Colorado for a special event celebrating the launch of Champions magazine. Good Sports offers a fitting place to gather, celebrate the publication, and experience Access Gallery artists’ interpretations of sports and movement.
Access Gallery will be closed for the July 3 First Friday so staff and artists can enjoy the holiday weekend with family and friends.
