Golden Rest: A therapeutic Gong Bath and Yoga Nidra at the turn of Jupiter
You are warmly invited to join us and immerse yourself in the healing sounds and golden energy of a therapeutic Gong Bath accompanied by a guided Yoga Nidra meditation journey.
ABOUT
Liz Titherley and Maddy Gunn, trained Sound Therapy Practitoners, will guide you on an expansive journey into therapeutic sound. We will start with a guided meditation, offering deep rest through Yoga Nidra, and then facilitate a journey through a meditative soundscape with the use of Jupiter and Chau gongs, himalayan and crystal bowls and other therapeutic instruments. These instruments encourage your brainwaves to quieten down and you may experience altered states of consciousness, promoting a sense of deep recharge and relaxation.
In March the planet Jupiter ends its retrograde and moves into the sign of Cancer, signalling a pivot from internal reflection to external expansion and action. This transition ends a period of introspection and internal growth, marking a shift toward externalizing plans, increasing ambition, and accelerating projects. We will work with these themes during the session leaving you feeling rejeuvenated and ready for the season ahead.
Everyone is welcome, you do not need to have any knowledge or experience with sound baths or meditation.
WHAT TO BRING:
The studio provides mats, bolsters and blankets. You will be laid still for a while so please bring additional layers if you need to ensure you are as comfortable as possible. Feeleel free to bring an eye mask if you have one.
LOCATION AND ARRIVAL:
The session will be held at Prana Voice in Dalston: Tuscany Wharf, 4a Orsman Rd, London N1 5QJ.
Please aim to arrive at Prana Voice 5-10 minutes before the session begins.
IMPORTANT: Please note, a Gong Bath is not recommended for those who suffer from epilepsy, advanced cancer, or severe mental health conditions, nor for those with a pacemaker, metal plates, or implants. It is also generally advised against during the first trimester of pregnancy. If in doubt, please consult your GP before booking.
