About this Event
Yin Yoga is a slow, meditative style of yoga that targets the deep connective tissues of the body — including the fascia, ligaments, joints, and bones. Unlike more dynamic styles of yoga, Yin poses are held for extended periods, typically 3 to 5 minutes, allowing the body to gradually release tension and increase flexibility at a deeper level.
In a Yin Yoga class, you’ll spend most of the time close to the ground in seated or reclined postures, supported by stillness and your breath. The practice encourages you to soften muscular effort and surrender into each pose, cultivating patience, mindfulness, and a deep sense of calm.
Yin Yoga is suitable for all levels and is particularly beneficial for those looking to:
• Improve joint mobility and flexibility
• Relieve chronic tension and stress
• Complement more active (Yang) movement practices
• Develop a deeper mind-body connection
• Support recovery and relaxation
Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or a complete beginner, Yin Yoga offers a grounding, restorative experience that nourishes both body and mind.
