Open Streets Tempe is an event that challenges the community to reimagine what life can look like when we prioritize people over cars. Alongside the sister event DTA's Second Sunday, we shut down major roads in downtown Tempe to host a street festival by locals for locals. This is an all-volunteer effort brought to the community by Tempe Bicycle Action Agency (TBAG) and Tempe Art and Music Coaltion (TAMC) with support from City of Tempe, Tempe Tourism, Chamber of Commerce, and Downtown Tempe Authority. Day of festivities include:

Bike parade

36 live music performances across multiple locations
70+ pop up vendors
2 pop up skate parks
Car show
