We're excited to announce or 2nd Annual Spring AF 5K Fun Run out of Road Runner Sports in Tempe Marketplace on April 12th at 830am.Please show up to hydrate and sign a waiver around 8am so we can leave promptly at 830am to be back in time for raffles and awards.
All paces, ages, ranges welcome. This is a no drop run, we will make sure everyone has a great time and get's back safely. All finishers will receive a Finisher's Award.
This is a completely free event. If you're a seasoned runner or have never ran a 5k, this is your chance to hang and meet with club members.
We'll have vendors on site, shoes to demo, raffle prizes, and so much more to be announced.
We are also partnering with RISE for their Back to School Fresh Start. We are looking for donations of:
-Backpacks
-Notebooks & loose paper (both wide and college ruled)
-1" binders, pocket folders
-colored pencils, crayons, markers, highlighters
-rulers
-glue sticks
-pencils (all kinds)
-pens
-pencil holders
Raising Canes will also be on site with FREE lemonade and cards for every runner.
We will update more as the date get's closer, but mark your calendars, this is an event you don't want to miss.
