About:
Muy Malo is a dj and producer from Ecuador, based in Chicago, interested in the experimental electronic sounds coming from Latin America, and from underground scenes in other regions of the world. Through radio shows and dj sets, he's put those syncopated sounds in conversation with each other and with genres that have influenced him after living between Detroit and Chicago for the last 10 years. With an eclectic taste, not bound to any one genre, his sets cover broad ground ranging from ambient, experimental and downtempo, to hard sounds like baile funk, latin tekno and beyond.
